Random Acts Of Fuckery: Ralph Nader Edition

Now, this isn’t a RAoF because of Nader’s quote for the most part (although the Uncle Tom crack was just plain ass-backward), because if you really think about it Nader makes a good point on questioning Barack’s future allegiances. Let’s not get it fucked up, people: although we will have a new president by the start of next year the past eight have left a salty aftertaste, so excuse me if I seem a little wary at first for the new guy. But the reason this is a RAoF entry is because a: it’s Fox fucking News trying to defend Obama, the same guy they’ve called everything under the sun for the past year-plus, and b: the :38 second part of this clip, which is just fucking hilarious.

  1. “really……..” LMAO

  2. ……………..WOW………………….-_-

  3. funny but it was true though

  4. to his credit, shep isn’t as much a fox goon as the rest of them.

  5. He actually makes a good point and Shep is tryin to flip his words around into some racial bullshit. I don’t give a bit for Nader either but that’s an obvious question he’s posing to Obama basically. He didn’t sugarcoat it that’s all. It’s funny Fox and Shep said a bunch of harsh shit about both candidates McCain and Obama (mainly Obama) and now their all diplomatic recently.

Maybe cuz they realized he was gonna win. So their trying to save face by stunts like this one. It was funny when Nader tried to speak slow to Shep again with his statement. “Again I said IF…” lol
Hopefully change has come!!!! :) Hooray!

  6. Yeah. Its about to get crazy to the point where no one will be able to criticize Obama now?
Maybe Uncle Tom was a harsh choice of words… but we have to hold all of our politicians accountable no matter of race.

  7. That Nader quote was on point. I just think its a damn shame it took a white man to say it. Obama better be on point. I still have to LMAO at the “Really” part.

  8. Nader’s comment was by no means out of line. it’s just a shame it took this long for someone in the spotlight to pose this question…

  9. fox is retarded

  10. Man, how long the news guy cried about the bully thing…shiiit!

  11. i bet the homie thought flippin the word uncle sam to uncle tom was clever..smh..

  12. lmbo at the straight face ( for like 3 seconds) then…”really”

  13. “well there’s his time…time’s up”

    *smh at fox’s conscience

  14. Fox News is terrible, but what Nader said was terrible. He had a chance to say it was a bad choice of words but didn’t. Classless.

  15. just googled the Uncle Tom thing… ouch. you’d think someone would of googled that before they let him say that…

  16. ralph nader is a bitch that doesn’t understand economics

  17. @ Joe

lol I had to google it too because not many people use that phrase, now I know why

the guy said “not at all” damn, he just pretty much said on national tv that he is a racist and doesn’t care….Nader is done

  18. lol@fox news jumping on Obamas jock asap…all that racist propaganda they spit before the election, and NOW racism is a bad thing to fox??? ralph nader broke it down in so many words and he has a point. Is Barack really for the people? Joe Biden warned of a national crisis happening within Obamas first six months in office. Google it. Only time can tell, just stay educated, and pay attention to whats going on in this country, because Barack really needs a miracle to pull this country out of the toilet…ANYONE would need a miracle…anyways, god bless.

  19. by the way, i voted Obama

  20. word up man. wtf

  21. ::stoic pause:: “Really.” or was that…”Really?” Hmmmm…

  22. everyone should know the historical significance of a phrase like uncle tom
but yea i thought exactly about the reason its a raof when i saw it was fox news, lol

  23. haha @ really I had to come back and watch due to the pause haha…

  24. Looks like Fox is trying to save face now that BO’s the prez. Their criticism of Nader was so contrived it WAS funny. It was a poor choice of words by Nader but at least he stuck to his guns. I liked when he called out the anchor for trying to bully him. lol

  25. I would like to nominate Soulja Boi Tell Em’ the lifetime achievement award for RAoF after his recent comments about slave owners…

  26. I know I’m late posting on this, but I’ve been watching our PRESIDENT-ELECT on the news and online closely to see who the man that WON THE PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES BY A FUCKING LANDSLIDE is planning on appointing to his PRESIDENTIAL CABINET. So, I haven’t gotten around to it until now.

The fact is that even a reporter on FOX news is able to see that that is a blatantly racist statement made by Nader (whom I used to respect) and probably is the end of his career. I couldn’t understand why people do this stuff to themselves with cameras around all the time, but now I see that they don’t understand understand why it’s racist. They don’t know why they are saying what they are saying.

If a white man ran on a platform, or billed himself as someone who has looked out for the poor his entire career, and had a record similar to Obama’s what would Nader call him?? Not an Uncle Tom. Nope. He wouldn’t have even thought of that term. He thought of it, and chose to use that word to describe what Obama ‘was in danger of becoming’ because he is black. No other reason. That’s the only time the phrase comes up is to describe a black man in that situation. Not a man, but specifically a black man. And it is a hurtful and shameful term for a black man to be called.

When such bright people show another side of them like Nader did here, it really disappoints me. I find it hard to respect him at all now.
