Eh, u might as well count his father as a slave too, just in Africa. His father endured apartheid and colonialism from Britain, VERY similar to the slavery system (that was) in America.
I don’t know how people overseas were feeling, but this is exactly what it seemed like everybody around my way was feeling. Here in Alabama of all places everyone hoped for the best but planned for the worst and even though the margin between votes for Obama and McCain was about 65/35 here (something along those lines) when we reached a point where Obama basically only needed 8 votes out side of California (Obama had 207, McCain had 89) people started geeking. Like this is Alabama, yo. We never thought anything like this could or would ever happen. I turned 20 years old a 4 days ago and never thought I’d actually see this happen in my lifetime, and although the sentiments behind that entire mentality have not gone completely out the window, I think a lot of desperation and hopeless really left the hearts of niggas last night… I don’t even think y’all really underysand what this is feeling like down here…
Breezilla needs to check his/her facts!!! I’m only 1/16 African, but even I know how to count and write grammatically correct!!!

The margin is 52/47 for McCain!!!! Check my facts, ho!
Also, did “hopeless really leave the hearts of niggas last night”? Or was it “hoplessness”? Hopeless must be your dog’s name, because if this is the best comment about the remarkably historical event that happened on Novemeber 4th, 2008 in The United States of America….then you, my brother, are hopeless!
Pray for Obama!!!! He is going to be under so much pressure once he is in power! I hope his community organizing skills will help him organize a better America!
from slaves to presidents… wow
”from slaves to presidents… wow”
Obamas family is not from slavery, his Dad was the first one in the US… but I get what you mean…
