Kanye West – Anyway f. KiD CuDi (Radio Rip)

If you caught LowKey’s Disc Changer Diaries, you’d know that we already have this untagged, CDQ version of this song. But unfortunately the powers that be won’t let us unleash this on the masses yet. Lord knows this site doesn’t need another “SLU” fiasco. So enjoy the radio rip for now. Props to the 76 of y’all who sent it.

  1. mmmm… thats some delicious vocodesert… PSYCH!

na but seriously this shits maad weak.

  2. So this is not on 808′s right?

  3. nvm my 1st comment it is on 808s…

REALLLLLYY not feelin this one AT ALL though.. I’ma Chicagoan till Chicago ends and I’m a big Ye fan, but this is gettin hard to listen to lol..

It’s cool though he can do his whole singing thing on this album and all that and hopefully his June 09 album will be Ye rapping again..

  4. what happened with the ‘SLU fiasco’

PS: *shudders to imagine kanyes track*

why wont kanye rap, his last album was illllllll

  5. WACK

    WACK

    WACK

I love kanye….WHEN HE RAPS! will not be purchasing 808s…

  6. this shit is pretty weird, wen can we expect cdq, n wheres the mastered robocop at

  7. Hmm, its very N.E.R.Dish but not in a bad way first song off 808′s I wasn’t completely feeling.

  8. this shit sucks, this his worst leak, probably his worst song, the hook is da best part

  9. i don’t know what to think anymore………. please rap

  10. j.deezy man u gay this song raw as hell

  11. dope track

  12. lol at all these close minded idiots. You guys are stuck in the mind-set of what you think rap is supposed to be like. You forgot all about what made hip-hop in the first place. And thats doing something that comes from your heart and at the same time bringing something creative to the table. Stop conforming yourself to the norm. Thats what holds hip-hop back.ignorant listeners who call something different “wack”. This album is going to be a masterpiece. The critics will love it and the people who actually buy records will cop this for sure. You niggas talk about about yall want CHANGE so bad. but if kanye dont rap about the same stuff he did on College Dropout yall start acting like broads and start dissing kanye and saying he fell off. Hip-Hop has no rules or format. If you wanna listen to the same repetitive hip-hop music over and over again go listen to joe budden or sumtin. And please nobody bring that “REAL” hiphop shit up. Cause real is when you do something out the heart and thats all ye does. Let hip-hop evolve into the genre it can be. – JPEEZY

  13. For a radio rip, this is pretty good quality. Sounds like (music from) the 80′s.

  14. I enjoyed this shit, without a doubt.

  15. I’d like to revise my comment, upon second listen I’m feeling it allot more but I think it needs a 3rd verse.

  16. fuck the haters this is DOPE

  17. Is it just me, or is kid cudi not on this song?

  18. Theater Of The Mind is callin my name on the 25th

  19. i actually liked this more than his previous releases off 80s but im not feelin his new style at all really

  20. SUCKS

  21. Actually, beat knocks in an 80′s teen flick kind of way… Kanye wasn’t bad either, but Kid Cudi is gay as hell. That guy is corny, fruity, soft, pathetic, blah blah.

  22. kid cudi spits some hot shit when he wants to. i don’t judge the man, only his music. i like this a bit on some i love the 80′s shit

  23. fuck that this shit sounds RAW

  24. Sorry, but what the fuck is this?

What sub category does this fall into?

  25. i get what kanye’s tryin to do ….shame he aint no good at it. if he was a new artist trying to come up of this song he wouldn’t stand a chance. let’s face it it’s garbage.

  26. @ Nick…KiD CuDi’s on the hook, fam…

this shit is decent, on some Zo! and Tigallo Love the 80s vibe…

  27. http://hiphopfrequency.com

Really nervous about this new style from Ye.
Better to work out that Personal sh*t off the air.

    HipHop is Alive

  28. The only thing I don’t like is the chorus. It’s kinda weak. But everything else is dope, especially the beat.

  29. My god…

Is it me, or does this shit sound like a crackhead trying to remake Pharell’s “In My Mind”?

For all of you talking about revolutionary music, breaking ground, etc…. This shit isn’t really nothing new. You like it or your don’t. Just don’t buy into the cutting-edge, avant-garde shit that seems to be all the buzz. It simply isn’t true.

  30. And please, really think about the original question before you decide to spew any hate.

  31. first off i’m white, i’m jewish, and i love hip hop…. i listen to hip hop to hear RAP. this isnt bad its just not rap. this is like david bowie shit…. its not what any of us expected but im sure this will grow on us all. BUt i think we are all upset because we want to hear kanye RIPPP it. but were gettin lovey dovey songs. I’m sure there will be some insane tracks on the album. but no comparison to his past albums because this isnt rap.

  32. I know most of ya’ll are gonna call me a hater. but this is just my opinion. The only song I’ve liked so far is Heartless. Love Lockdown is garbage. For those of you who do like it, and made it the top track on iTunes or whatever, I have a question for you.

If it wasn’t by Kanye West, would you have purchased/downloaded it?

I’m guessing if it sounded the exact same, but was perfomed by some random jawn nobody would give a shit about love lockdown.

  33. @yeaYEAyea

You can ask that same question about any established artist. Kanye is able to reach a bigger audiance and people are more willing to open there minds to something differnet because of what he’s done in the past. Flashing Lights(which is very different from most popular hip-hop) would have never been a hit if Good Life had not come before it.

  34. shit was sick to me.

  35. dis song is fuckin crazy…..Kanye took da creativity 2 da next level…he’s tryna keep his shit fresh….2 many rappers do da same shit on every album an u get tired of em…Nov. 25 im buyin it

  36. give me cdq or give me nothing.

he needs to sample some sick shit and rap on it. now.

    or ill download HBN808

  37. i feel this track… i can relate to this hard… as abstract as it sounds… im def coppin the album.. and it might not be a classic nor get the most play in my car.. but its still creative work, that im sure will be satisfy

  38. Before I Self destruct Dec 9th

  39. Yall peps are trippin hard..this track is ill 808′s gonna be on of his best sellin albums cuzthe sells arent gonna rely on strait up rap/hip hop fans

  40. You guys are way to close minded this shit is off the hook! Give it like 4 or 5 listens before you judge.

  41. Shit can someone please let this man do some different shit without having a bitch fit!?!.. Its not like anyones forcing u to buy this album.. Not that anyone actually buys an album nowadays..

  42. I have just accepted ‘Ye is going to do this. Anyone who is bitching about this is a fan of one or many of Common, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem to name a VERY short list of the great artists who did what they wanted for an album.
I am not going to say this album will be a masterpiece or a piece of anything right now cuz guess what…I HAVEN’T HEARD IT!
Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?!

Now if Kanye is pulling a full T-Pain and is a Rapper Turnt Homo, then I’ll be upset for him wasting his talent. But we won’t know that until he drops sometime in 09 (cuz you KNOW he will). Until then, this song isn’t bad. Too bad neither Cudi or Ye rap, but this song is actually pretty dope. Picture John Legend doing it f/ Cudi and now you aren’t mad?! Move on, Kanye chooses who Kanye is…not you.
Kanye > You (thanks for that Shake)

(all that was freestyled over a Statik Selektah beat like Charles did…ha!)
