Ye is that dude who ignores his core consumer audience to put out something real. He is beyond the pack and shows his true artistry. He avoids the pigeon holes, revealing a reflective nature that too many “rappers” stare away. What other modern mainstream rappers extends beyond music like ye?
Also, Beyonce’s new single is on some type shit. Makes me proud of mainstream music.

Jeezy is the rapper, Wayne singin on that duet lol. i dont think i want this album. Heartless sounds like it has autotune on the verse but i cant really tell cuz its just a snippet but its clearly used on the chorus. that duet scares me though cuz i thought Wayne and Kanye were rappers, not RnB artists.
the show was funny, if anyone went. kanye messed up love lock down 2 times and had to redo the song for the taping. the first time, he forgot the lyrics of the second verse, and the second time the beat went on before he was ready. but for the most part he did his thing. kinda disappointed he didn’t do anything new though. short but good show.
this album is gonna be crack.

i can understand people saying they dont like the auto-tune but just let him do his thing. you bitching over the internet about it is not gonna stop kanye from using auto-tune because people have said they hate it forever and he decided to make a whole album of it. Personally i think its rather catchy and people like andre 3000 and even wu-tang have used shit to change their voices since the golden age of rap so to say its a fad is somewhat incorrect. i agree that this is a new phase of something that hip-hop has used before but a fad, not really. i can only share my opinion and my opinion is that i appeciate him for putting out an album that is close to his own heart so i can connect with him and an album with a lot of raw emotion in it. and ill also appreciate him when he goes back to the old kanye in june for GoodAssJob so in the meantime dont be so critical of dude and if you dont like it then dont listen. The old kanye will be back for you guys next year. But hey, opinions are like assholes everyone has one and they all stink so dont listen to me unless you wanna lol

First, 808s & Heartbreak is a fucking brilliant album name. It’s an homage and sounds plain fresh. Second, the man is just stickin it to the zeitgeist. All the kids want some autotune? Well, he’s going to do it and he’ll kill it.
