I have been a kanYe since before College Dropout, but have been disappointed with the quality of his music starting with Graduation. I really didn’t like that album; it was too commercial. kanYe got his start as a soul-beat maker and but now he’s doing too much. I thought destroying “Home” and calling it “Homecoming” was the last straw, but apparently I was wrong. This new album is a new low for Mr. West.
This website is supposed to be for true hip-hop fans. Saying that, I am disapppointed at how people just ratify EVERYTHING that kanYe does. There’s too many people out there that are making good music (i.e. MURS, Charles Hamilton, etc.) for people to even put this single in the same category. If you like mellow music, I STRONGLY recommend you copping the new Foreign Exchange or Raphqel Saadiq. Unlike Mr. West, they don’t take your support for granted.
