what’s wrong with looking like yourself during an interview? TI’s look/persona is half of what is pulling in the money. if you don’t believe me, ask a LOT of female listeners and videos like “whatever you like” or even the whole TI vs TIP hype. so what he’s in sunglasses? he addresses this in his song “if i started to dress bummmy, would the haters and the critics have more respect for me?”
the spot did feel a little “weird” being on cnn of all places, but he needs to be heard and his promise to change is important.
