So the homie Skyzoo is jumping on the weekly series thang thang as well. Why not? Instead of your favorite styrofoam cup speaking on the series, let’s have Sky do all the talking…
In the first of a series i’m starting entitled “Skyzoo Archives”, I figured i’d jump it off with “Let It Bang-2005″ by me and my man E. Ness, produced by 9th wonder. This series will be a collection of OLDER material that either never came out or came out years ago before I had the fan base that I do now, and this is all leading up to the release of “Urban American Idol-The Best Of Skyzoo” (a full catalog of my older and unreleased stuff”), followed by the ALL NEW mixtape “the Power Of Words”, and then the debut album “The Salvation”. As far as this first joint, this is a song I did back in 2005 in NC when I first met 9th Wonder, Khrysis, and the rest of the Hall Of Justus. I was building my buzz in NYC and they noticed it so we did a bunch of records together in a week. This is one of them. My man E. Ness from Philly was down there at the same time so we did the record together. 718/215 banger, simple as that. “So here its is, Let It Bang-2005 (Feat./E. Ness)”, produced by 9th Wonder. pretty sure it was on Vol.2
Wait, are all the songs he’s gonna release be on the UAI mixtape?
Or is that gonna be a whole different batch?
I think i’ll wait to get ‘em all at once.
this is REAL old but still a hit/classic.
yeah there was a version of this song in DMV 2. But the beat seems a bit rougher compared to the one that made the version that made it on 9th’s album. I listened to both versions of the song and it seems like that its the same verses….
