I think TY is right. VMAs are ok, I think “Love Lockdown” would’ve been a better opener than a closer. I think I need to give that track a listen through some earphones before I judge it, though. Kanye out of the way, Lil Wayne & Kid Rock was pretty dope. Lupe should’ve been the closer imo, but they’d never do that.

the crowd went dead on the Wayne/Kid Rock performance. i was laughing like hell. i heard Kanye was supposed to announce his new album at the end of the VMA’s. all he did was perform and the song sounded wierd. i kinda heard the autotune in it.
seeing this and the Love Lockdown, I think this album might be a more vocal KanYe but we’ll see in December. I thought hed spit a verse tonight but didnt but w/e. song was very good. cant wait to hear the studio verison. this dude is seriously the hardest working man in the business. GITD tour, producing Jay-Z’s new album and an new album this year? speechless.
