What always amazed me was how productions would feature so many samples crammed into one four-minute song. In their earlier days, ATCQ was definitely a proponent of that method, so much so to the point where if you blinked you’d miss some of them. Definitely a dope trend that I miss. I must say that I’m happy that WHH records these sessions because the only thing I watch on the TV is sports (and Chelsea Lately). And I also have to say that it’s dope to see emcees actually freestyling still. Having fun and spitting rhymes.
