While FSD has been blessing the internet world with a wild amount of unreleased material from Lupe Fiasco, I always wondered what the Chi-town emcee personally thought. I guess I wasn’t the only one as Andrew himself caught up with Lu to get his opinion on it. The answer? While it’s a good one, I wasn’t expecting it to be honest.

it’s a god damn shame that more people don’t hop onto what lupe is doing. aside from the legends like nas and hova, lupe is the most relevant artist in hip-hop today. dude has a talent like no other. this video just further proves at how down to earth the dude is.
Honestly, I rather have an actual Lupe Mixtape than some old freestyle of him spitting on a classic Rocafella beat. All most of these old tracks do is show how much Lupe has grown as an artist lyrically, flow wise, and musically. He sounds so generic on most of this old stuff.
