LL Cool J – Exit 13 (Artwork x Tracklist)

Fitting title for LL’s upcoming album as it is his last album with Def Jam. Exit 13 drops September 9th. Hit the jump for the full art and tracklist. What are the dopeboyz and dopegirlz anticipating with this record? If anything. I liked a few freestyles I’ve heard but then again I also remember LL’s last 3-4 albums. *shivers…

  1. i assume the album was ready before he stopped crying about jigga man
would of been 1 hell of a track we all know it
in reality I’m happy for the Grandmaster Caz track
better be 1 dope producer like i would say premo/Marley marl/maybe just blaze could drop a dope beat who knows but i’m expecting lots as his last 2 albums sucked

    its ll and Santana

come on give me a break fuck
    oh well I’m out peace

  2. looks like trash

  3. LL has been on his game off late and it should be interesting to see if the new age rap consumer is interested/not in hearing what Uncle L has to offer the game. If the album is anything close to the Return Of The G.O.A.T tape then I am definitely ridin’ with him otherwise i will just buy the album to complete the collection – I have everything else he has done (yeah even the last few album which were booty) so I guess it would not hurt.

  4. LL has always been a diverse Emcee so I really expect nothing less than that. He’s not one that is always gonna stick to the script of what HipHop fans want to hear. As of late he’s been tearin’ shit up so this might be something special. The only cd I truly had a problem with because I was too young and fickle at the time was “walking with a Panther”. Everything else including his last 2 I felt because it was Something different from what the masses was hearing and the radio and video was playing. More Mature.

  5. *yawn*

  6. I like the cover art. It’s not really worth it to get excited about an LL album though. He’s good at letting me down.

  7. Another album that LL’s respected legacy. Sad that some people just don’t know when to stop.

  8. Another album that will taint LL’s respected legacy. Sad that some people just don’t know when to stop.

  9. man id rather listen to dj kahled rap than another LL cool cd

  10. i can’t wait to read this board after his album drops!!!! every single time since his career started when niggas doubted him he busted dey asses!!!!! i think niggas are gonna have to apologize to da big homie after this one!!!!! i just hope you niggas are man enough to admit it. smh probaly not. i went to the listening session!!!! i’m telling you da nigga is coming correct!!!!!

  11. and in response to gnar!! nigga if you feel that strongly what da fuck are you even commenting for!!!! early in the morning dick riding niggas and hating lol

  12. Was expectin real NY niggas on this album, Fat Joe, 50, Wyclef? No man. For the past 3 albums LL disappointed me man. I really hope that this albums ends his Def Jam reign with a high. And he needs to stop bitchin about the camel-man for crying out loud!

  13. Too many Jay-Z Dick ryders commenting on the The G.O.A.T. I see. I know his last 3 cd’s weren’t the Hottest but you promote what you put out. With 10, you only heard “Love you Better” and “Paradise” but on the cd was “FA Ha, Niggy Nuts, Clockin’ G’s, Throw ya L’s Up, 10 Million Stars, U Should, Big Mama and After School ft. Diddy – What’s the Problem ? The Definition you Heard the Club Banger HeadSprung and Hush but the cd also had Feel the Beat, One in the Morning, and Shake it Baby. Todd Smith had Control Myself and Hush but you had Best Dress ft. Jamie Foxx, Watchu want Ft. freeway(that should’ve been a single considering the Roc Artist), #1 fan, I’ve Changed and We gonna Make it ft. Mary Mary. All Hot tracks with no Profanity. So with all the Bullshit HipHop is going through and you have a Vet showing how it can be done without the Bullshit, Whats really wrong with his last 3 ? Considering all the Freestyles he’s been dropping as of late and you still hate ? 1990 is Done Yall.

  18. People who are talking about LL should retire are probably not
even hip hop heads. If they heard Return of the Goat mixtape and
if they were “REAL” hip heads they would not make these stupid
remarks. Maybe they have a poster of Britney on their walls.
Cats who now opeenly give LL respect = Eminem, Game, 50, Fat Joe, Rakim, KRS1, Cool G Rap, Kane, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Ice Cube, Dre Dre, Snoop, and Yup even JayZ & even Canibus. Now these cats are for more relevant than laptop chumps who hide behind the internet. Hip Hop Lives!

Personally I hope they release some of the harder joints this time round.
