A while ago I dropped the audio (and still waiting on the CDQ version), now here’s the video version I peeped over at eskay’s crib. Off of his upcoming Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. Now if you’ll excuse me, Grand Theft Auto 4 is calling. SHAKE UPDATE: Obviously people don’t check my posts as I dropped the CDQ awhile back haha.
Now it’s Cyph’s turn to jump on cats been calling it the underground “A Milli” “Who Shot Ya.” I’m almost half-tempted to jump into the booth and rhyme on this track myself.
and if you ain’t showing me love you know you nah right
(shots fired?)
J.A.M.E.S. Watts hits up Mickey Factz’ Incredible instrumental. Tomorrow, Factz’ will be dropping the instrumental as well as 8 more freestyles. Then … the cards will be pulled.
I know people are disappointed with the Re-Up Gang album (that we previewed the other day) being what it is. Even thought there are some re-used verses, etc there is still a few new and original joints. Including the one in this post, produced by The Illfonics. Shouts to Steven for this one. Re-Up Gang in stores August 5th. Upcoming producers/DJs, remember to Remix the Re-Up.
I know there are quite a few Janelle Monae fans that frequent the site so I’m sure these two bonus tracks off the special edition of her Suite I: The Chase EP (dropping on August 12th) will please the masses. Shouts to maliz!
Here goes another dope track off the upcoming DJ Revolution album, Kings of the Decks, dropping September 16th on Duck Down Records. The tracklist (which I included below) is ridiculous. Definitely an album I’m anticipating…
Earlier today, eskay dropped a track off DJ Sepalot’s new project, Red Handed (cop here) featuring Saigitty. It seems the blogging world has missed it. I guess when NMC doesn’t post, the world doesn’t know haha. Jokes. Anyways, he alluded to a Blu track being on the project as well but decided against posting. Since Shake is basically a Blu-stan, I will.
Real talk, just take a look at the still shot before you press play. Tell me that isn’t the perfect image of someone who’d go to their trunk during an argument with their baby moms.
you remember Harlem before the Dips my nigga?
when Horse & Carriage dropped, it was the shit my nigga
With the upcoming 2dopeboyz x ESSO collab on it’s way ESSO hit me off with another joint to let out there and get people hating/loving. I can already tell there will be hating since he’s over a Wayne beat. But do yourself a favor and actually listen to this joint. The Gardens … is coming! Harlem stand up!
With one of my most anticipated albums around the corner (Heltah Skeltah’s D.I.R.T. dropping September 30th) Duck Down drops some National Geographic footage while Sean Price’s King Kong acts as the backdrop. As I watch this, I realize I must turn on the tube and watch some Discovery Channel believe it’s Shark Week.
