ummm..yeah, this is not what i expected at all either, but after 3 plays i must say it is growing on me. i guess everybody figures they have to play both sides of the musical fence to be successful. It does seem to be the move right now to be an “artist” and not just an MC. i.e. andre 3000, mos def, wayne, shit i’d even throw travis from Gym Class in there but i can’t front they both do well on this track..although i would like to hear them both dropping a 16 on something way more aggressive,plus i think wayne always get blown out the water when he is on a track with a real MC and i wanted to see if that was just coincidence or true colors showing through…i.e. Phonte on Breaking my Heart, Kanye on Barry Bonds and Jay on Mr. Carter
