If you never saw the original, I highly suggest you toss out that played-the-fuck-out copy of Scarface and go bootleg it ASAP. The second edition focuses more on the infamous Griselda Blanco, a/k/a The Godmother, and her reign of terror. Props to J. Mack for this one.
