The homie Zack sent this through and I thought his description wasn’t right until I heard it. WTF happened!? I honestly don’t know the story behind this and I wish I did. Anyone have the scoop? Obie is off Shady/Interscope? No more second place to Eminem? I’m so confused.

  4. Oh shit, what the fuck happened? I’m a big fan of Obie, but I don’t see him under anything BUT Shady Records, considering he’s been under that label from the beginning. I don’t think he’ll make a big impact without Shady Records behind him.. but then again, they were the ones that held him down, so you never know.

  5. Not surprising…Obie was the ONLY successful artist under Shady records…when’s the last time they have even let a artist drop a album. You got Cashsis, Creekwater and Stat Quo still collecting dust on the shelf, SMH, they just lost big. That just means EM is gonna have to come that much harder with his next LP.

    Hopefully dude does well. Hope it’s not some big beef with Shady Records campaign w/ youtube videos and all that. Hopefully he sticks to what he does, makes good music and get’s another situation.
