I fucks with The Roots all day every day. In my opinion, they got better with every album up until this one. Although it was great in its own right, I don’t think it was as good as “Game Theory”. It almost feels like a “Game Theory, Part II”. I got tired of all the guest spots from unkown rappers that I don’t really dig. And Kweli could’ve come better. But Mos & Common killed their guest appearances. It still beats most things released this year.
All your hustler / thug / bubble gum / middle school rappers can step down. The Roots ARE real talk. No bullshit. No excuses.
if only Black Thought would get back on the grind and do the Masterpiece Theatre album…………..
Rising Down was fire….that’s some shit that should’ve went platinum in a week but w/e niggas keep sippin’ that lean I guess. Get Busy was one of the hottest songs on there.
