We’ve been telling you haven’t we? NMC runs this! Sun is going down but that doesn’t stop us, nah. Here’s an exclusive exclusive. I don’t tag my shit so you title/link blogs are in luck. Take it and don’t give credit. We know how it works with ya’ll haha. Fresh from the studio. Pharoahe Monch jumps on Erykah Badu’s The Healer for a special remix. Nothing is official yet but Monch lays 2 verses of fire. I dropped a live version of Pharoahe’s part back in May and said what I wouldn’t do for a studio version to this. Well the music Gods answered my prayers haha. Enjoy!

The promo pic for the song is fire….this song is niiiiccceee.
[...] Pharoahe Monch serves us some political truth on his remix of Erykah Badu’s “The Healer.” To tell you the truth, I skip over this song every time I listen to New Amerykah. I’m a Christian, and I don’t know what that chant in the background means. But Badu is always serving up something new. She just needed Monch to put it all in perspective. [2DB] [...]

[...] This was already one of my favorite tracks of the year and now that Pharoahe Monch has a verse on the remix, this will probably get listened to at least twice a day for the next few months. Madlib’s worldly production on “The Healer” sets the mood perfectly for Badu’s always clever vocals. Now, Pharoahe Monch, who put out one of my favorite albums of last year, has added some blistering rhymes, which compliment the original version quite well. I dug up that pic from Pharoahe’s Myspace. Besides not having Badu in it, does it not fit the track perfectly? You all know what Erykah Badu looks like anyways. Erykah Badu feat. Pharoahe Monch – The Healer Remix via 2DB [...]
