Fair play ma dude, u like Lil Wayne’s music and ur willing to let slide what Lil Wayne does rather than if another rapper did it. BUT from what I heard of the leaked Carter III, it is absolutely terrible. 4 me, his mixtapes were harder and compared to the Carter II it doesn’t even come close.
The best track on the whole album is Mr. Carter with Jay-Z n I don’t even like Jigga. Every other track on there is just a filler….especially with T-Pain. If u like it, more power 2 u, but me personally, I think it’s probably the biggest disappointment of 2008
I mean Carter 3 aint THAT bad… But his mixtape shit outshines it by ALOT in my opinion… But to enjoy it i think you gotta listen to it with no expectations which is tough cuz of all the hype and stuff… But dont be surprised if the words “What were you doing all this time?” come out of your mouth
i just find it funny how if i don’t like what the general consensus likes, i’m considered a hater.
@ swagger aka lmao aka shake’s fake-ass cyber-bully:
you’d think that after seeing all your comments vanish into thin air you’d have learn to come with more cognitive thoughts than a jay-z line from over a decade ago.
I actually think Dr Carter was one of the most creative songs on the album… but don’t get it twisted, i’m in no way shape or form a Lil Wayne dick rider. I don’t hate him either (even tho I used too…) but this is actually one of his better songs.
When I bought GTA IV, the special edition came with a cd called The Music Of GTA IV and after hearing it, the two songs I thought should be sampled were this and Zombies by Fela Kuti.
Swizz did a good job not fucking up a sick sample and I thought DeWayne murked it.
wanye still missed the mark. the CD overall is wat i consider a good, “3.5 star”, average-rapper album, with a few jems here and there. but for as much as this thing was hyped, anything short of crack-tastic just aint cuttin it.
“What [the F***] were you doing all this time?” is right.
Its just not good, its a good concept but executed in a poor fashion. I think wayne is just incoherent talks a lot of shit. The whole album aint put together right. It makes it hard to listen to. In my opinion he has not realised his potential, his inconsistency makes him harder to relate to.
lol @ your little coments, do u actually listen to music or do you just skim through it?
@ Swagger

I’m w/Swagger on this…
DeWayne fuckin MURDERS Dr. Carter.
Now let me put some more vocab in your IV.
“Now let me put some more vocab in your IV.”
That took ALOT of thought!
*giggles (“no homo” – lil wayne)
Im with Krhyme
plus wayne should have just made the carter 3 a 3 disk set that had most of the leaked songs, people would have paid for it
i actually really dig dr. carter
*shrugs
dopeboyz clash!
Dr. Carter is actually his most lyrical song on the whole disc.
I always thought that beat came from Grand Theft Auto.

median > lil wayne
Now if lil weezy didn’t make that comment about dj’s…Do you think everyones opinion on the album would of been different?

Axelrod is a musician. He wins by default.
