K.Dot – Hater Love (prod. Cool & Dre)

I don’t know about my dopeboy comrade, but Shake? Shake loves the haters. Katt Williams said it best, people are gonna hate regardless. So I’m just gonna let them haters do their job. My man DJ Ill Will just shot me the official single from Compton’s K.Dot, produced by Cool & Dre. Figured I’d share for the West Coast dopeboyz and dopegirlz out there. Also, hit the jump for K.Dot over Lil Wayne’s A Millie.

Elucid – E! Channel x Spec Boogie – Something to Hold On To

My fault on not posting this sooner (sorry Elucid!). It took me a second email from the emcee to post haha. Normally I’d speak my own thoughts on a track I put up but the email I received is just too good to overlook. Elucid must have balls constructed of highly-polished, rust-resistant titanium to rap over the irresistible bop of  Suzanne Vega’s classic Tom’s Diner. Come on now. But like everything else he does, it works.  Elucid spins a voyeuristic third-person narrative of infidelity witnessed from a window in his customary vivid poeticism. Along with Elucid’s track, they also sent out a track from Spec‘s recent Dollar Sign Language mixtape.

Young Chris – Paradise f. Lil Wayne

Boston better not fuck around and lose this lead they built. I think I despise Detroit more than I do San Antonio haha. Nah, that’s not possible. While I’m trying to set up the big move for 2DB I got this brand new Young Chris track featuring Lil Wayne aka the man who hates the people who MADE him aka Mr. Fuck a Mixtape DJ. I’m sorry, this guy is off his rocker. Leaaaaaaaaaan.

Mickey Factz – Naturally f. Jade (The Leak)

A little late in the day for The Leak, but nonetheless Mickey Factz comes through. This time showing love to GFC’s new artist, Jade.

DNA is a trait passed on from generation to generation. My father used to rap to me when I was a kid. So of course me becoming who I am today is natural. Over a smooth jazz track and the help of GFC’s new artist Jade, I explain how music is as easy as breathing. Light an incent, sit back and enjoy. I now present, Naturally. – Mickey

Pistons vs Celtics (Game5)

Huge game tonight. The playoffs have proved this year that series’ tied at 2-2, the winner of Game5 takes the whole cake. I’m going with the Celts by 6ish. What do the NBA dopeboyz and dopegirlz out there think?

Nas & Green Lantern pt.2 (Video)

Part 2 of Nas’ discussion with Green Lantern. Gee I wonder what they spoke about? Shouts to Sav as usual. Also, despite Nas changing his album title, he is still putting out The Nigger Tape with GL. No release date and honestly who knows if it will even drop. Remember Corporate Takeover with Jay/GL? Yea, exactly.

Busta Rhymes – Blessed (Artwork x Tracklist)

I normally don’t do this, but the creative side of Shake pushed me to the edge. Looks like something I would do, hmm. Here is the artwork to Busta Rhymes’ upcoming album, Blessed, which drops July 1st. Damn so G-Unit vs Nas vs Busta Rhymes. Click the above pic of hit the jump for the full view. EDIT: The homie Dre pointed out that it seems as if Busta is taking the Hova route with a 3D’ish cover. Interesting. Meka Edit: Check out the tentative tracklist under the cut as well.
