  2. Yea, this was a damn nail biter, but we’ll take it. Questionable calls throughout, but Im watching Pop on TNT right now and he just said that it wasn’t a foul and he wasn’t expecting to get the call.

    Shake get that money ready for that trip to L.A. man, the parade is 5 wins away.

  14. the foul shouldn’t of been an issue. fish’s shot hit the rim on the play prior which would have led to kobe shooting freethrows instead of taking a shot with a shot clock running down.

    plus, barry should have went straight up, not pull back and dribble first like he did.

  16. explain to me why barry should have gone straight up instead of pulling back and dribbling with time left. he was trying to get a good shot, and with fisher in mid air in his way that was a problem. he dribbled around and fisher’s disgraceful, flopping, hack ass landed on him, clearly fouling him – but we all know that the nba is just like you dudes – they wanna see lakers v. celtics.. too bad the celtics wont hold up their end of the deal

  17. if barry would have went right up, the foul would have been called because he could’ve went more into fish. leading to three freethrows. even if they called a foul with him dribbling, thats two shots. overtime is the most that could have been done.

    but like i said. that whole play shouldn’t of happened because fish’ shot hit the rim on the play prior.

    the only reason crying bout that pity foul is cuz thier in TX and usually in home-court situations, the home teams gets the upper hand.

  19. good no call. Lets not forget Fishers shot hit the rim. There were countless other questionable calls. Odom gets a goal tend? Hand, ball, backboard, never happened. Duncan has an amazing dunk from the free throw line! But wait did he soar through the air to get there? No he took four amazing steps to get there. Not to mention Bryant never gets to the free throw line, whens the last time thats happened, never.

    1. The homecourt team DID get the advantage – the FT disparity was large… and Kobe got no-where NEAR the FTs in this series as he did against the Jazz.

    2. Err… ‘Lakers stay losing’? Umm… makes no sense man.
