Crooked I – Burner In My Lap [Dirty/NoDJ]

So this past weekend, the dopeboyz were at Crooked I’s studio. Shake interviewed him for DX. We spoke for a damn hour on tape! Ha, I’ll be editing it all week. We got to hear a track or two off the upcoming mixtape, Block Obama. Freak is just … crazy haha. We go to to hear the new single for the way-past-due album, B.O.S.S. featuring Akon. Trust me, it’s not … one of those Akon cuts. While you guys wait, here is a brand new cut.

  4. it was… eh. when i can figure out how you’re going to end most of your lines (because it ended with the 1st word that popped in my head), that gets boring. i am a fan of clever lyrics (when the mc sits there and thinks before he speaks (c) GZA). every once in a while crooked i goes in. this wasn’t one of those times. this one was ok, but i can only deal with predictable shit for but so long…

  5. [...] joint from Block Obama, mixtape coming soon. Shouts to Meka and Shake for the linkage as usual. They have the instrumental too, for you wannabe aspiring [...]

  6. Tracks aight, but below average to the standards crook has set lately. The beat sounds too generic and there’s no standout lines. I felt the same way about “crooked don’t dance” from the bossacre, but the rest of the tape was sick so hopefully it’s the same case here.

  7. i disagre i felt this was nice

  8. Good lookin out! Downloading it.
