Amplive (1/2 of Zion I) is finally allowed to release his 8-track collection featuring remixes of Radiohead’s historic seventh album, In Rainbows. If you didn’t know, there was a huge issue about him releasing this to the public. Check Amp’s plea after being hit with a cease & desist order. Luckily all parties came to an agreement and the order was uplifted. Check out Amp’s thank you. If you are a fan of Radiohead or a fan of Amplive or shit … a fan of dope music, check it out. Features Del, Zumbi (Zion I), Chali2na (Dilated Peoples), Too $hort, etc. Artwork, info and links are all after the jump…

Rainydayz Remixes is composed exclusively of source material pulled from In Rainbows, re-envisioned by Amplive and complimented by vocal work from Too $hort, MC Zumbi of Zion I, Chali2na of Jurassic 5, Codany Holiday and Del The Funky Homosapien. [via 1776]

  2. I’m not so pleased with this remix album, personally as a Radiohead fan I think its pointless to remix an awesome album. No hate towards Amplive though, this is better than Soulja Girl.

  3. [...] a dope remix to Mark Ronson’s Just. Featuring Radiohead (must be the new thing to do) and Black Poet, while produced by DJ Premier. I’m diggin [...]

  4. i def agree with Jeff Roberts

  5. I sure that the album in rainbows by itself is a incredibel album, but why cant someone remix it if they get inspiried by their music?…

anyways I like it, it’s a interesting interpretation.
